The current European Marine Board panel is:

EMB previously supported expert panels, including:

• University Consortium Panel - UCP
• European Scientific Diving Panel – ESDP (2009 – 2017), which now operates independently as part of the MARS network (http://ssd.imbe.fr). Consultation documents delivered by the ESDP are available for download on the following topics:
  • Common Practices and EU Competency levels
  • Delivery of science through diving
  • Scientific Diving from large Research vessels
• European Research Vessel Operators - ERVO (1999 - 2005) which is now an independent operatial network (http://www.ervo-group.eu/np4/home/).  In 2007 ERVO led an EMB Position Paper 10  European Ocean Research Fleets - Towards a Common Strategy and Enhanced Use, and worked with EMB on Position Paper 25 on European Research Vessels activity.
