The EMB Board decides to establish Working Groups (WGs) on topics which are felt by its Members of strategically importance for marine sciences, to consider and investigate targeted issues or that are lacking visibility. EMB WGs are composed of leading experts nominated by EMB Members, and generally associated with EMB Member organisations, and the outcome is a publication (Position Paper, Future Science Brief or Policy Brief).
