People, Ocean and Health Webinar

The final conference of the SOPHIE Project which was scheduled for 30 March 2020 in Brussels was cancelled and replaced with a webinar to launch the Strategic Research Agenda for Oceans and Human Health Research in Europe. 

 

You were invited to the People, Health and Ocean webinar on March 30, 2020. During this 1-hour webinar, three speakers presented the H2020 SOPHIE Strategic Agenda for Research in Ocean and Human Health. The webinar started at 3:00 PM CEST.

  • 3:05 – 3:20          Presentation of the Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) on Ocean and Human Health
    • Sustainable seafood and healthy people
    • Blue spaces, tourism, well-being
    • Marine biodiversity, biotechnology and medicine
  • 3:20 – 3:55          Interactive discussion with all participants, guided by the following questions:
    • What should be the next steps in taking the messages of the SRA forward?
    • How to integrate the SRA topics and ideas in existing policies and ongoing projects
    • Who should be informed about the SRA? Which audiences and stakeholders?
  • 3:55 – 4:00          Closing reflections
