The European Marine Boards hosts and co-hosts a variety of events, both as regular series (the EurOCEAN conference, Forums and webinars) as well as an on ad hoc basis to support relevant science policy initiatives and EMB activities such as ocean literacy and ocean observing. On Wednesday 4 March 2026, EMB and its Young Ambassadors will host an ECOP Wednesday series event on the topic of "Is Wave Energy a Solution for Making Seawater Desalination More Sustainable? Techno-economic Expectations from the Portuguese Context". The session will feature Daniel Clemente as a speaker. The talk will be followed by an interactive Q&A discussion.
