KDM joins the European Marine Board

UlrichBathmannToday, at the European Marine Board plenary meeting, the Board welcomed the German Marine Research Consortium (KDM) as a new EMB Member Organization.  KDM represents sixteen institutions and universities of Germany in the field of marine and polar as well as coastal research. With approximately 2,200 marine research scientists and being an acknowledged national contact for marine science matters, KDM is a welcome addition to the German representation on the European Marine Board among two other members: Helmholtz Association (HGF) and the German Research  Foundation (DFG).
