In this edition of the ECOP Wednesdays event series, hosted by the EMB Young Ambassadors and the EMB Secretariat for the EMB ECOP network, Agnese Cosulich will speak about "The Power of Science Communication: Translating Marine Knowledge for an Inclusive Blue Economy".
Multilingual science communication has enormous potential to democratize knowledge and connect coastal communities, industry, policymakers, and scientists around marine sustainability. In this talk, we’ll explore how translating and disseminating marine research and data in different types of languages (tone, different formats materials) can amplify the impact of ocean policies, boost local engagement, and support more inclusive governance processes for a resilient blue economy.

Agnese Cosulich has MSc in Maritime Spatial Planning and currently focuses her work on strategic communication related to the blue economy — with a specific emphasis on ocean multi-use, marine policy, ocean conservation, governance, and sustainable fisheries.
