
EMB's open Fora provide an opportunity to bring together the marine science and policy communities to jointly discuss important issues.
The 9th EMB Forum discussed 'Addressing coastal and water resilience on the land-sea interface'. This one-day event explored different aspects at the land-sea interface, including policy and governance, transboundary pollution, and coastal adaptation and livability.

The 9th EMB forum was co-hosted by the Institute of Natural Sciences. This event was endorsed as being in support of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. It was also a recognised action in support of the EU Mission: Restore our Ocean and Waters.
