The European Marine Board will officially launch its high-level foresight report, Navigating the Future IV, on Thursday 20 June 2013 at the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts in central Brussels. At the event, the Italian EU Presidency 2014 will announce EurOCEAN 2014, marine science grand challenges conference, which will take place in Rome on 7-9 October 2014.
Key-notes at the launch will be given by Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, EU Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science and Maria da Graça Carvahlo, MEP and Rapporteur for the Horizon 2020 Specific Programme.
