New science officer joins the Marine Board Secretariat

Dr. Kate Larkin joined the Marine Board Secretariat as a Science Officer on 06 February. Kate, who previously worked at the UK National Oceanography Centre (NOC), has a multidisciplinary background  with research interests in the sensitivity of marine ecosystems to climate change and experience in ocean observatory development and coordination. Kate’s arrival restores the Secretariat staff complement to five, following the departure of Aurelien Carbonniere in September 2011. Her full profile is available on the Secretariat page.
