Have your say on the future of European Research Vessels

On 9 August, EMB and the working group on next generation European research vessels launched a stakeholder survey.  The survey asks about experiences of research vessels and their equipment, and invites you to share your thoughts about their future in Europe.

The survey is aimed at 4 main stakeholder groups:

  • Research Groups/University/Marine Station/National Research Institute
  • Funding Agencies
  • Industry/Public or Private Company/Government or non-academic research vessels/Commercial vessels
  • Technology Developers

This survey is now closed but a short summary report can be found online. The survey findings will inform the activities of the working group and recommendations it will publish in a position paper, expected in 2019.
